Anime Vanguards' Winter Update 3.0: A Festive Frost of New Content and Improvements

Roblox developer Kitawari has unleashed Anime Vanguards Winter Update 3.0, a significant update boasting a revamped lobby, a host of new units, exciting game modes, and numerous quality-of-life enhancements. This update promises weeks of winter-themed fun.

The most striking change is the completely overhauled lobby, offering significantly more space for players. This is complemented by a remastered UI, particularly a cleaner and more intuitive stage selection interface. Kitawari addressed player feedback regarding the previous lobby's limitations in the patch notes, highlighting the new lobby's tenfold improvement and its customizable day/night cycle.

Key features of this update include:

• New Game Modes: The "Portals" mode introduces unique mechanics and tiered rewards, boosted by using winter units and skins. "Sandbox Mode" allows unrestricted experimentation with strategies.

• 12 New Units! Distributed across a new Winter Banner, Portals game mode, Battle Pass, and Leaderboard Rewards (see detailed list below).
• New Game Mode: Portals: A new game mode with unique mechanics, tiered rewards, and elemental interactions. Using winter units and skins enhances rewards.
• New Game Mode: Sandbox Mode: Allows players to test strategies without limitations, using any units, enemies, and resources.
• Boss Event Rerun: The Blood-Red Commander Igros boss event returns, with weekly cycling of boss events.
• Revamped Lobby & UI: A significantly larger lobby with a customizable day/night cycle and a much-improved stage selection UI.
• Unit XP Fusing: Allows fusing unwanted units to level up others.
• Winter Banner & Currency: Earn winter currency in Portals to summon units and skins or spend it in the Winter Shop.

Changes & QoL Improvements: Numerous improvements to unit animations, unit placement, UI search, enemy highlighting, quest display, and overall gameplay smoothness. These include additions of new music, world markers, and improved UI elements. The update also switched to Roblox's new chat service with automatic translation.

Bug Fixes: A long list of bug fixes addressing issues across various game aspects, including unit abilities, UI elements, map loading, and more.
