The Oratores quest, a lengthy main quest, requires obtaining the Royal Treasury Key after assisting Vavak. The key's location is a bit unconventional.
To acquire the key, head to the outhouse (toilet) in the backyard of Vavak's house. Refer to the map screenshot below for its exact location.
Examine the toilet bowl; an "Investigate" prompt will appear. Clicking it will have Henry retrieve the key. However, this will dirty Henry, so remember to clean up at a nearby trough before continuing the quest to avoid dialogue issues with NPCs.
